GET YOUR KRILL - Joe Weider's Muscle & Fitness

Fish or fish-oil supplements rich in docosahexaenoic and eicosapentaenoic acids are known to promote brain, heart and joint health. Some studies show that regular consumption of fish oil can also improve cholesterol profiles and reduce blood pressure. One problem is that fish-oil supplements 'talk back.' In other words, fish burps. Some companies have responded by producing fish-oil capsules with a special coating to minimize indigestion. Other companies have gone a different route with krill oil. Natural krill oil (NKO) contains long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids and appears to have all the benefits of fish oil. It also positively influences endocannabinoids (a signaling system that controls appetite, pain sensation, mood and memory) and reduces bodyfat. To put an end to fish burps, try 300 mg of NKO a day.
