- 1 cup Seviya ( vermicilli) broken in small pieces
- 5 cups Milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3-4 tsp Ghee (clarified butter)
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder ( elaichi )
- 2 tsp raisins
- 2 tsp chopped almonds
- 2 tsp chopped cashew nuts
Method :
Heat ghee in non-stick pan , add seviya to it and fry them stirring continuously till they turn golden brown. Then add milk , sugar and cook for 15-20 minutes stirring frequently on low flame till it gets thick consistency. Then add cardamom powder and stir for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with almonds, raisins, cashew nuts and serve hot.
