Hot-Plate Egg Tofo With Oyster Sauce




Tofu is made from soy beans. It is extracted to get a milky liquid which is then combined with a substance to coagulate it. It has a bland taste but when cooked with other ingredients, it tastes good and delicious. It is high in protein, low in cholesterol and rich in iron. The Chinese believes that taking tofu often can make the skin smooth and beautiful.

Tofu is usually in rectangular block or individually vacuum packed.You can get a lot of varieties of the tofu. You can get the fried tofu too.



Ingredients:

Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce, 18-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 2)Dried shrimp - 3 ozGarlic Peeled Fresh 10 Oz

STAR Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1.3-Litre, 1-Quart .12 fl. Ounce Plastic Bottle










2 rolls egg tofu

2 tbsp oyster sauce

2 tbsp dried shrimps

1 tsp chopped garlic

oil for frying

Method:
1. Cut the tofu rolls into small round pieces.

2. Heat up a wok and deep fried the tofu till golden brown.

3. Drain the tofu with kitchen towel so that it will not be oily.

4. Put the tofu aside.

5. Heat up another wok with 1 tbsp oil.

6.Fry garlic and dried shrimps till fragrant. Add in oyster sauce.

7. Mix the fried tofu together.

8. Heat an iron hot plate til hot. Transfer the fried tofu mixture to the hot plate.

8. Serve it hot.



Note: Be very careful when handling the hot-plate. It is very hot and will burn your hands if not handled properly.
