Fried Cloud Ears/Black Fungus With Eggs

Black fungus has a medicinal value. It is also known as cloud ears or 'bok nee'. Take it once a week to lower cholesterol and blood pressure. It also helps to improve in blood circulation

Ingredients:


Morton Iodized Table Salt - 4lb. box

 2 big pieces soaked black fungus
 2  eggs
1 red chile
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp anchovy  stock

Method:
1. Boil the soaked black fungus till soft. Cut chille and black fungus into strips.
2. Beat the eggs and season with salt and anchovy stock.
3. Heat up a wok with some oil and fry the egg till slightly golden in colour. Put in the black fungus, chile and stir fry for a few minutes,
4. Dish out and serve on a plate.

Black Fungus/Bok Nee With Red Dates And Ginger

This is a herbal drink. It has a medicinal value. Take it once a week to lower cholesterol and blood pressure. It also helps to improve in blood circulation.

Ingredients:

1 cup red dates
2 pieces black fungus
3 cm old ginger
3 cups water

Method:
1. Wash over running water red dates and black fungus.
2. Wash and slice old ginger into a few pieces.


3. Put everything in a pot and  boil for 1 hour till you can get the aroma.
4. If you cook in a slow cooker, cook high for 2 hours or until you can smell the aroma of the cooked items.
4. Serve when cool.
