Red Beans With Dried Longans


This is a very simple dessert to prepare. All you need is to get all the ingredients ready and boil them together. The longer you cook the softer will be the beans.

Ingredients:
Small Red Beans - 10 Lb Bag / Box EachDried Longan 1 LbDomino Premium Pure Cane Sugar 5Lb Bag










1 cup red beans (soak overnight)
1/4 cup dried longans
1/2 cup  sugar
2 pandanus leaves
5 cups water

Method:
1. Add water, red beans, dried longans and pandanus leaves in a pot and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat to simmer, cook uncovered till beans are tender for about 2 hours.
3. Add sugar and stir till it dissolves.
4. Serve hot or cold for a perfect dessert.
